FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: Power has been restored.
At least 2,000 people are without power in Forsyth County, according to Duke Energy.
Around 750 of the outages are in northern Winston-Salem. The other 1,000 outages are near Guthrie.
The cause of the outages is unknown at this time.
Duke expects the power to be restored by 9:45 p.m.
