FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — A church in Forsyth County is damaged after it caught on fire Thursday morning, according to Forsyth County officials.
Old Richmond Fire Department responded to Ridge Road in the Tobaccoville Community of unincorporated Forsyth County around 4:50 a.m.
Units found a one-story church with heavy smoke and flames from the roof. Crews were able to bring the fire under control at 5:15 a.m.
There were approximately 30 firefighters at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
