Aggie Pride still rings strong for NC A&T alum as GHOE weekend kicks off

GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's officially GHOE weekend!

We caught up with former NC A&T Aggies, Sports Director Brian Holloway and Communications Assistant Shamyah Tatum, as they gear up to celebrate for the Greatest Homecoming on Earth.

"It's like a big family event. Everyone comes out and celebrates in good fun," Brian Holloway said. 

"Homecoming is like one big family cookout. Everyone comes out to celebrate and have fun," Shamyah Tatum said. 

Brian is from graduating class of '97 and Shamyah is from graduating class of '21.

Homecoming Parade

Murrow Blvd. North and Southbound from West Friendly Avenue to Fisher Avenue. 

Elm Street between Lindsay Street and Bessemer Avenue will be closed for the Homecoming Parade at 5 a.m. 

The parade will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at East Lindsay Street/Murrow Blvd. 

Homecoming Football Game

The following streets will be closed Saturday, Nov. 4 from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.:
Sullivan Street, from Benbow to Lindsay
Lindsay Street, from Murrow to Headquarters Drive

Meet Me at the Plots (Williams Dining Hall and Alma Murrow
Circle-Lot 1)*

  • University Circle at Dudley Street will be closed Saturday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. until 4 a.m.
  • University Circle at Bluford Street will be closed Saturday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m.
  • Alma Morrow Circle at Nocho Street will be closed to traffic Friday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. – Sunday, Nov. 5, at 4 a.m. (only those who are loading in for Saturday, will be permitted into the area, and no parking will be permitted)
  • Nocho Street at Arthur Headen Drive will be closed Friday, Nov. 3 at 6:00 p.m. – Sunday, Nov. 3 at 4 a.m.
  • Market Street & Nocho Street Gate will remain locked Saturday, Nov. 4, at 4 a.m. - Sunday, Nov. 5

*No Vehicular Traffic will be allowed into the Plots Area

Game Day Shuttle Service

Shuttle services will be provided on Game Day. The stops are near Lot 12 (Dowdy Rear), Lot 17 (Alumni-Foundation Event Center), Parking Deck, and Lot 42 (near the Deck).

Shuttle service will begin at 11:00 a.m., and the Courtesy Shuttle/Golf Cart service for persons with disabilities will start at 10:30 a.m. Both services will run until 2 hours after the game ends.
