1 displaced after house fire in Winston-Salem

Fire officials said the cause of the fire was a car fire that spread to the house.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A person is displaced after a  house fire in Winston-Salem Wednesday.

The Winston-Salem Fire Department said they are received a call about a fire at a home on the 5600 block of Sweetbriar Road around 9 a.m.

Fire officials said the cause of the fire was a car fire that spread to the house.

No one was injured in the fire.

Multiple units were on the scene, according to fire officials.
