GREENSBORO, N.C. — Firefighters battled flames at an apartment fire in Greensboro.
The fire started Thursday night just before 6 p.m. at Woodland Park Apartments located on Pisgah Place in Greensboro.
Fire crews said the fire started on the second floor of one of the apartments and quickly spread to the building. At least 33 firefighters worked to put out the flames.
Fire crews said the apartment fire has impacted eight families that will need to find somewhere else to stay. The American Red Cross was notified to help families.
Firefighters have not said what started the fire at this time.
No one was injured.
