STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — A fall was reported at Hanging Rock State Park Sunday.
According to Stokes County Communications, someone fell at the Cooks Wall trail around 3:30 p.m. The person fell about 10 feet. Their injuries weren't considered serious. No other information was given about their identity.
Rural and rough terrain made it difficult for EMS to get to the victim. Multiple crews and fire departments helped with the recovery. The person was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
