GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Dudley High School teaching assistant accused of having sex with a student was arrested Thursday.
It was reported to the Greensboro Police Department on Aug. 13, 2019, that a former student at the high school had an inappropriate sexual relationship with the ex-assistant, Christopher Arnell Holland, 37.
Holland resigned as the Greensboro Police Department conducted an investigation at the school, investigators said.
Dudley High School principal Rodney Wilds released a statement.
"We take these accusations very seriously and will not tolerate any behavior that harms a student. We immediately contacted law enforcement and the person is no longer employed with the district," Wilds said.
Holland is charged with three counts of sex acts with a student. He was taken to Guilford County Jail. Holland's bond is set at $350,000.
The district confirmed the employee resigned on March 11. He had been with the district since Aug. 20, 2014.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims.
