REIDSVILLE, N.C. — First responders rescuing a family on Wolf Island Road.
Reidsville and Eden rescue squads used a raft to rescue an adult and child who were trapped in their car in a cornfield near Wolf Island Creek.
Rockingham County deputies told WFMY News 2 the car drove into rising water, sweeping it into the cornfield.
Eden rescue got on a boat and saved them. The rescue took nearly an hour.
Deputies shut down the road because water will continue to rise.
