City Easter Egg Hunt at Washington Terrace Park (High Point)

Happening Friday, April 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The annual city-wide egg hunt is being held at Washington Terrace Park at 101 Gordon Street in High Point. Organized egg hunts will be divided into four age groups: 2-3 (11am); 4-5 (11:30 am); 6-7 (12pm); and 8-10 (12:30 pm). There will be a small carnival. Egg hunt and rides are free. Food vendors will be on-site to sell their menus for a fee. Be sure to bring your own basket! Call 883-8599 for more information.

Easter Eggstravaganza 2015 (Greensboro, NC)ID=70746964

Happening on Saturday April 4th at 1:00 p.m. This event is a collaboration between Christ Wesleyan Church and Genesis Baptist Church Children's and Youth Ministry. It will take place at Christ Wesleyan Church at 2400 S. Holden Road in Greensboro. There will be an egg hunt for children, along with prizes, food, and fun for all ages. Volunteers are needed to setup, breakdown, help with registration, assist children with the egg hunt, and other tasks. Event organizers are requesting donations of desserts, chips, and/or juice boxes. Easter Celebration with Salt of the Earth Church of God in Christ (Burlington)

Happening Sunday, April 5th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The church is sponsoring it's first community Easter celebration. Events will be held at the church located at 1412 N. Church Street, Burlington, NC 27217. There will be a free health screening, free food, live music, games for children, and other activities.

Old Salem Museums & Gardens (Winston-Salem)

Happening on Saturday April 4th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Events will take place throughout the historic district., although most activities will be held at the Vierling House and Barn. All Easter activities, including an Easter egg hunt, are included with an All-In-One ticket - $23 for adults and $11 for children ages 6-16. You can learn about Moravian Easter traditions that date back to the 1700's during fun activities like an egg hunt, an egg painting, and a demonstration of Easter music on an organ. Stations of the Cross: A Local Experience of a Holy Land Pilgrimage (High Point)

St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in High Point is offering the community an alternative to the traditional pilgrimage to the Holy Land from now until Easter Sunday on April 5. The church has set up an outdoor walk that is around one-fifth of a mile that recreates Christ's path to his crucifixion. The walk is self-guided with 14 stations that draw a narrative of Christ's movements leading up to his death. St. Christopher's is located at 303 Eastchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262. Buffalo Presbyterian Church Easter Services (Greensboro)

The church is inviting all to attend one of its Easter morning services on Sunday, April 5. The sunrise service will take place at 7 a.m. and the regularly schedules service will take place at 11 a.m. The church is located at 803 16th Street.

Resurrection expert Dr. Mike Licona of Risen Jesus Ministry (www.risenjesus.com) will share at the 11:00 a.m. service. Dr. Licona holds a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies and is the author of several books, including "The Resurrection of Jesus: A New Historiographical Approach" and "The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus"

Easter Egg Hunt Hayrides at Tanglewood Stables (Clemmons)

Happening from March 21 through April 5, you can enjoy a scenic tractor-drawn hay ride through Tanglewood Park on your way to the Easter Egg Hunt Field. Pre-scheduled rides are set for March 21-22, March 28-29, and April 4-5. The cost is $9 per person. Holy Week Services and Activities at Bethel UMC Oak Ridge

Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 8424 Haw River Rd. in Oak Ridge, invites the community to come to the following:

-Maundy Thursday Worship (Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 pm) Service includes Holy Communion and joint worship service in partnership of Good Samaritan Ministries.

-Easter Egg Hunt (Saturday, April 14 at 10 am) Bring a basket and meet at the Fellowship Hall. There will be a reading of the Easter story also.

-Kite Day (Saturday, April 4 following Easter Egg Hunt until 3 pm) Happening at Pearman Field, located across the street from the church. Includes kite flying, bouncy houses, hot dogs, and snack.Activities and food are free to the public.

-Sunrise Service of Light (Sunday, April 5 at 7:00 am) Happening in the church parking lot by Pearman Field. All are invited to stay after the service for a breakfast hosted by the United Methodist Men.

-Easter Cantata (Sunday, April 5 at 11:00 am) Program is called 'Glorious Day' presented by the Bethel UMC choir.

Salem Congregation Events (Winston-Salem)

-Great Sabbath Service (Saturday, April 4) Happening at 7 pm in the Home Moravian Church sanctuary, the worship service will include a choir of singers from various churches in the area.

-243rd Easter Sunrise Service (Sunday, April 5) Begins at 6:15 am in front of the Home Moravian Church at the northeast corner of Salem Square.

The Lost Shepherd Production (Winston-Salem)

Easter Bunny Hops Into Hanes Mall (Winston-Salem)

Starting Saturday, March 14 through April 4, kids of all ages can get their photo taken with the Bunny at the lower level of the Belk Court. All families who visit the Easter Bunny will receive an Easter Bunny coloring sheet. Hanes Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday.

Peace United Church of Christ Easter Carnival (Greensboro)

Happening Saturday, April 4 from 12-3 pm at the 2714 West Market St. location. You can join the bunny in the giant rocking chair on the lawn as well as pony rides, bounce house and slide, crafts, games, and egg hunts ( ages 1-4 at 12:30 pm, ages 5-8 at 1 pm, and ages 9-12 at 1:30 pm) You are asked to bring a canned good to support Greensboro Urban Ministry and admission is free. There will be some cost for food and amusements.

The church's annual Easter worship service will be held Sunday, April 5 at 10:45 am with a special children's project. Sunrise service is set for 7:30 am.
