Deputies search for missing Burlington teen

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing 14-year-old girl.

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — The Alamance County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing 14-year-old.

Deputies said Presley Paris-Reid Lawton, 14, left her home on the 2000 block of Race Track Road in Burlington Tuesday around 8:30 p.m.

Lawton was last seen wearing a white Ghostbusters t-shirt or black hoodie, black biker shorts, black high top Converse shoes, and carrying a gray Under Armour bookbag with white lettering, and a wallet.

She is believed to be riding a black or gray mountain bike.

Lawton has been entered in the National Crime Information Center as a Missing/Runaway Juvenile.
