FRANKLINVILLE, N.C. — The Deep River Rail Trailhead and surrounding areas on Rising Sun Way in Franklinville are closed due a search for a missing person on Tuesday, July 2, according to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
According to deputies, this investigation is not related to the July 1 investigation at Deep River Bridge where they were searching for a missing woman.
Deputies said this person is missing from Winston-Salem.
Deputies said there is no danger to the community.
The trail is expected to be closed for a few hours.
