DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A driver is charged after crashing into a school bus in Davidson County on Wednesday, troopers say.

Troopers said the crash happened around 7:18 a.m. on Arnold Road at Towhee Trail. The bus was traveling north coming to a stop to allow students on the bus when a 1991 Nissan came behind and crashed into the rear of the bus.

The driver of the Nissan, Taylor Walker, 28, was taken to a hospital with significant injuries, according to troopers.  She was charged with failure to reduce speed.

The bus driver sustained minor injuries and none of the students were hurt in this crash.
