WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — We can't forget the brave actions of the Greensboro Four inspired other students to join forces in the call for change.
Clarence Henderson participated in the second day of the Greensboro sit-in.
He visited Parkland High School in Winston-Salem on Thursday, bringing the lessons of the past into a conversation about the future.
"This journey started for me when I was 18, it's where you are going," Henderson said.
Henderson is known as a community activist for Civil Rights who still uses his journey as inspiration for others.
