GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Guilford County EMS responded to reports of a car stuck in a pond on the 2400 block of NC 62 East around 11 a.m..
One person was pulled out of the car. We're unsure of the victim's identity at this time. They were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
North Carolina Highway Patrol said the incident was the result of an attempted suicide.
