Winston-Salem police responded to the intersection of Tower Street and Peachtree Street to look into a report that a cab was parked in the middle of the street with the door open.
The driver, 49-year-old Richard Dorman Webb, was dead with evidence at the scene showing the death was suspicious. 25-year-old Calvin Lee Moore Jr. was charged with murder as a result of the investigation.
