The Department of Transportation dedicated a portion of I-85 from Highway 64 to Highway 8 as the Bob Timberlake Freeway. Timberlake is an internationally known artist.The transportation secretary held the naming ceremony at Timberlake's gallery in Lexington. The secretary says Timberlake's art and furniture lines have created jobs and stimulated economic growth in North Carolina. />
