ASHEBORO, N.C. — An airplane at the Asheboro Regional Airport ran off the runway Monday morning, according to police.
Just before 9 a.m., officers were called to the airport. While they were headed to the scene, they were told that there were no injuries and that the fire department and EMS were unnecessary.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) was contacted, and federal investigators are responding to the scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
