HIGH POINT, N.C. — Fire crews reported one person in the hospital after an ammonia leak from the Dairy Fresh plant in High Point.
Fire trucks were seen outside of the facility near West Fairfield Road.
Crews said the call came in just before noon Thursday. The leak was contained to the facility which has been evacuated.
Investigators have not said what caused the leak or elaborated on the person who got sick.
