GREENSBORO, N.C. — Grammy Award winning American fiddler, Bobby Hicks, has died at the age of 91, according to family members.
Hicks was known for being a member of Bluegrass, his fiddle, and banjo innovation.
He has won 10 Grammy's and is a 2014 North Carolina Heritage award recipient.
According to a close family member, Hicks died in his sleep Thursday.
