HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. — UPDATE: The Amber Alert for three teen siblings missing out of Haywood County was canceled moments after it went out on Thursday afternoon. No information has been provided on how or where the children were found or their condition.

An Amber Alert has been issued for three teenage siblings missing out of Haywood County on Thursday.

The Haywood County Sheriff's Office is searching for 13-year-old Daniel Lane, 15-year-old William Lane, and 16-year-old Alyssa Lane.

The sheriff's office said Alyssa may also have her 5-month-old daughter Oakley with her, who is medically compromised.

Investigators said the siblings are believed to be with their mother, 40-year-old Ashley Lehmann, who does not have custody.

Deputies said Lehmann failed to return her children to the sheriff's office per a court-ordered permanent custody order granting custody to the father.

The vehicle is a dark grey 2020 Jeep Cherokee with Virginia license tag number TPA1530.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or *HP immediately.

A photo of the children was not immediately available. We are working to get one. Check back for updates as they come in.
