Amber Alert cancelled for Morrisville 4-year-old

Police said Brandis Tyrone Smith Jr. was last seen wearing a black shirt that says "Daddy's Boy" and black shorts.

RALEIGH, N.C. — UPDATE: Brandis Smith Jr. has been located and returned to his father, according to police.

The Morrisville Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing 4-year-old boy Brandis Tyrone Smith Jr. 

Police said Brandis Tyrone Smith Jr. was last seen wearing a black shirt that says "Daddy's Boy" and black shorts with no shoes.

Officers believe Brandis Tyrone Smith Jr. is with Deneisha Williams, 29.

Police believe Williams is driving a blue 2017 Nissan Maxima with NC license tag number LCN3940. According to officers, the car is registered to Angela Purdie.

They were last seen traveling in the 1000 block of Bloom Road area.

Investigators believe Williams is headed to the 5200 block of  Walnut Drive in Fayetteville.
