GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Folk music, crafts, culture, dancing. It's all coming back to Greensboro! But this time, it's the North Carolina Folk Festival instead of the National Folk Festival.
This year's events kick off Friday September 7th, in the evening with plenty of shows, food and vendors. Activities run through Sunday, September 9th.

The Lineup
This year's lineup features artists showcasing dance, music and performances from around the world. Many artist are local to the area, too, including Rhiannon Giddens who founded the Grammy-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops in Greensboro. For the full lineup and schedule, click here.
Parking & Transportation
Parking Decks downtown will be open for parking, but there is a flat fee of $10 to park there. Due to road closures, street parking may be limited. At the festival there will also be rickshaws available to take people to and from different locations.

At The Festival
This festival is FREE to attend, but donations are welcome. When you're on the festival grounds in downtown Greensboro, there are several booths you can check-in with for information. There's also a North Carolina Folk Festival app you can download to use while you visit. It shows everything from lineup, to parking to schedules. You can download it in the app store; just search North Carolina Folk Festival.
