ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — The Alamance-Burlington School System announced they have appointed an interim finance officer Friday.
The Alamance-Burlington School System Board of Education unanimously approved Melinda Anderson for the position in a special meeting.
ABSS said they are currently looking for someone to fill the position permanently with help from the North Carolina Association of School Business Officials (NCASBO) and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI).
Anderson was serving as the ABSS Accounts Manager since February 2023.
