A man is dead after a crash on Thomasville Road in Winston-Salem, police say.
Officers said the crash happened on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. when 71-year-old Thomas Joseph Harper, Jr. crashed into a pole. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Harper was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
This investigation is ongoing.
