40 West re-opened after crash in Greensboro, police say

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: All lanes of Highway 40 West have reopened, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Greensboro police said all lanes of 40 West at S. Elm-Eugene Street are closed after a crash with serious injury.

Officers said traffic is being diverted to S. Elm-Eugene Street. 

Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route.
