GASTONIA, N.C.--Police say two men and a woman have died in a domestic shooting in Gastonia.
Police told local media that the shooting happened around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say a man shot a woman and another man before turning the gun on himself.
The man and woman shot at the home died at the scene. The man suspected of shooting them died at a Gastonia hospital several hours later.
The names of the victims have not been released.
Capt. M.K. Shelor said investigators think the shooter and the woman had been married and were separated.
Officials said several children were in the home. Police said one child hid in a closet and the others fled to a relative's home nearby. The children were not hurt.
