The 28-year-old died the next day. There is no suspect or motive information.

Young graduated from North Carolina A&T in 2012. Young worked at BB&T, liked to play basketball and was a mentor to young people.

If anyone has information, please call Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000 or text keyword Badboyz to 274637 or submit a tip online at www.ggcrimestop.org. All three ways are anonymous.

Christopher's mentor, John Williams, hopes the large amount will compel someone to finally come forward, even anonymously, with clues to lead to an arrest.

Williams says the grief is overwhelming, and while nothing will bring Christopher back, justice will help.

"It's all we have. I can't think in a civilized society, that we'd have anything other than justice... but justice we should have," he said in February.
