'20 Terrifying Seconds' Video Shows Masked Men Run into Smoke Shop With Guns Blazing, Make Workers, Customers Get On the Floor

Greensboro Police say armed robbers stormed in around 9:30 p.m. Monday. Customers and employee were forced to get on the ground.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Seconds, felt like hours for the employee and customers who were at the Smoke Shop in Greensboro Monday night. Greensboro Police say armed robbers stormed in around 9:30 p.m.

Officers say the customers and employee were forced to get on the ground, or risk their lives, as the alleged thieves made off with cash. 

"They stole couple hundred dollars, I don’t know exactly how much money there was," employee Jorge Gonzalez said. Gonzalez works at the Smoke Shop on Randleman Road, but he wasn't there when the armed robbery happened. He says his niece, and three customers went through the traumatic experience. 

"It was 20 seconds," Gonzalez said. "It was really, really fast." 

Gonzalez described what happened. 

"You see they come with the guns in hand, we had a couple of customers over here trying to buy something, and you know, they put the gun in {their} faces."

Greensboro Police are looking for the two criminals.
