It captivated all of us one year ago today -- the total solar eclipse!
People across the country put on those eclipse glasses and paused for a minute to take in all in.
Our Chad Silber was in Murphy, NC for the big day, and says there was nothing quite like it.
And there's another one coming!
According to the Washington Post, the next total solar eclipse will be July 2, 2019, but it'll only be visible in Chile and Argentina.
The next total solar eclipse visible in our country will be on April 8, 2024.
Even though it will cross our country, the path of totality won't cross our area. The path will start in Texas and travel through Maine.
