Veterans eat free on Friday, Saturday & Monday!

Make sure you have your military ID & cash in on these deals

GREENSBORO, N.C. — 2 Wants To Know checked company websites, The Military Times, and USA Today for Veteran’s Day deals. There are A LOT of them. You’ll want to click on the links above to see them all, but here are a few:

Friday

Denny's is starting the Veteran’s Day freebies early. 
You can have a free Grand Slam Breakfast from 5 am to noon on Friday, November 10th.

Saturday

Veterans can basically eat all day for free, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sweets along with a free carwash!

East Coast Wings & Grill: Free meal and fountain drink. (five boneless wings & side, 5 bone-in wings & side, cheeseburger & side, Buffalo chicken salad)

IHOP: Free pancakes. Red, white & blueberry pancake entrée or pancake combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Krispy Kreme: Free donut of your choice and a free small hot or iced coffee

Starbucks: Free tall hot or iced brewed coffee to veterans, current military & spouses

Sheetz: Free meal (1/2 turkey sub and a fountain drink) and a free $9 carwash

Applebee’s Grill & Bar: Free entrée (6 oz. Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad, and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne) and a $5 gift card to use in the future

Monday

On Monday, November 13, Golden Corral will have their Military Appreciation Night. From 5 pm to close you can have a free “Thank you” meal.

DISCOUNTS FOR VETS YEAR ROUND: THANK A VET PROGRAM

The Thank A Vet program started in Guilford County. It gives vets discounts at local businesses ALL YEAR LONG.

To get your Thank A Vet card to use at local businesses, you go to the Register of Deeds with your DD 214 form and they'll make you a photo ID  card.

There are discounts on everything from travel agencies to tires and auto parts to restaurants and even animal clinic visits. There are 35 other counties in our state that offer a Thank A Vet program too. Get in touch with your Register of Deeds office
