GREENSBORO, N.C. — You know speeding can cost you in fines. But it can also cost you in gasoline.
Fuel efficiency drops drastically over 50 miles an hour. The department of energy says every five miles over 50 is like paying another 18 cents per gallon.
Buying the right car can also save you some money on gas. Consumer Reports tested several vehicles to find the most fuel efficient. Here are the top winners in some of the categories:
