Galaxy Glitch Can Send Your Entire Camera Roll To People In Your Contacts

Samsung is investigating a glitch that causes Galaxy phones to send random photos to random contacts

Imagine every photo in your phone, sent to a contact.

Every bad selfie, every embarrassing photo, sent to someone you barely know, a coworker, or even worse, your boss.

The glitch might stem from a recent upgrade affecting Samsung users. Reddit users, who discovered the problem, say it happened after they downloaded the latest update for Samsung messages.

The Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, and the Note 8 are all affected. The manufacturer says it's looking into the problem - but there's no confirmation that the update caused the problem.

Here's what you can do. Avoid the Samsung messages update until we know what's causing the glitch. You can also go into your settings and keep Samsung messages from getting access to your storage. Just keep in mind you won't be able to send pictures or video. Head to your settings, go to apps, select "Samsung Messages", hit permissions, and then look for the storage permission and make sure it's off.
