LENOIR, N.C. -- An undercover operation conducted by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office netted two arrests and the seizure of prescription pills and methamphetamine.
Friday, agents with the Sheriff's Office's ICE Unit raided a home in the 2300 block of Walt Arney Road. Authorities say the warrant was served as a result of numerous drug activity complaints and an undercover buy from the home.
Brandon Dale Laney, 27, and Lindsay Cheyanne Hamby, 22, were both arrested and charged after investigators found nearly a half-ounce of meth, 14 Clonazepam pills, assorted drug paraphernalia and $275 in cash.
Laney and Humby are both charged with one felony count each of possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine and maintain a dwelling to keep or store a controlled substance. Their bonds are set at $100,000 each.
