BURLINGTON, N.C. — Update: The Alamance County Sheriff's Office will provide an update on the search for missing 19-year-old Antwain Demar McDaniel at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Alamance County deputies are searching for a missing 19-year-old after he was seen leaving a car after an accident in Burlington.
Antwain Demar McDaniel is described to be 5'8" and approximately 150 lbs. Deputies said he was last seen wearing a white jacket and white pants.
McDaniel was last seen around 4 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28. Deputies said a friend reported seeing McDaniel get out of a car after an accident near the intersection of Durham Street Exit and Routh Road.
He has not been seen or heard from since. Deputies said his condition is unknown.
There have been search efforts for McDaniel in the area of Western Alamance High School, near the river and woods.
