A High Point man is accused of driving a car into a golf course pond Wednesday morning.
19-year-old Grayson Lane drove a 2000 Lexus LS 400 into a pond at Willow Creek Golf Course according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.
Lane's drive on the golf course caused about $2,000 worth of damage. Lane was charged with Trespassing, Property Damage and Consuming Alcohol Under Age 21.
Deputies found the Lexus partially submerged in the pond.
Lane was booked at 5:52 a.m. and was drunk according to the sheriff's office. He called his mother before deputies arrived and was given a custody release with the agreement that he wouldn't return to the course.
His court date is April 26.
