GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say a 17-year-old girl is in serious condition after she was hit by a car.
Police responded to the accident on W. Gate City Blvd near Bernau Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday.
Ms. Angela King, 17, was walking east across W. Gate City Blvd. Police say she failed to yield to an oncoming car and was hit.
Ms. King was taken to Moses Cone Hospital and is in serious condition.
Speed and impairment are not factors in the crash, according to a police news release.
