GREENSBORO, N.C. — After 128 years in business, Christian retail chain LifeWay will close all stores by the end of 2019, the company says in a news release.
LifeWay has 12 stores in North Carolina, including stores in Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Burlington.
The Greensboro store has been around for over 40 years and will close by the end of May, the release states.
Liquidations sales have already started.
The chain was founded in 1981 and has stores across the country.
The company's online store LifeWay.com will remain open.
