Among those hustling for a spot on California's recall ballot to replace Governor Gray Davis: Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt. Flynt pledged to erase the state's deficit by allowing private casinos to install slot machines. Said Flynt: "I really think I can do a better job of balancing the budget than those pinhead bureaucrats in Sacramento." The porn king also said he'd overhaul the state's education system and give amnesty to all illegal immigrants in the state, but then shut down the border. Flynt, who calls himself a smut peddler, says he thinks voters will look beyond that. Sitting in his gold-plated wheelchair with his wife and daughter nearby, Flynt said: "I may be paralyzed from the waist down, but unlike Governor Gray (Davis), I'm not paralyzed from the neck up."
