GREENSBORO, N.C. — Masks will be required inside Cone Health Cancer Centers across the Triad, according to a spokesperson with the hospital.
On Thursday, Dec. 7, all visitors and patients will need to have a face-covering due to a spike in respiratory viruses.
Mid-November, due to an increase in Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), Cone Health's Pediatric Center started requiring masks and implemented visitor restrictions.
Cone Health Officials said a few more changes are coming to their visitation policy this week.
We will keep you updated with the latest policy as we learn more.
