Greensboro Science Center Welcomes Adorable Set Of Wolf Pups

The science center's animal care team says the litter of two boys and two girls are healthy.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Science Center welcomed some adorable wolf pups recently, and they're just as cute as you'd expect!

Anaheim, a 5-year-old maned wolf, gave birth to four pups last month. The pups just got their first checkup and were introduced Monday. The science center's animal care team says the litter of two boys and two girls are healthy.

The science center says the wolf exhibit will be closed for until Feb. 11 while the family adjusts.

Anaheim and 11-year-old Nazca, the science center's adult male wolf, were recommended to breed for the fourth time by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' Maned Wolf Species Survival Plan. This is their second successful litter. Lauren Davis, the GSC’s Wolf String Lead Keeper, says they're both fantastic parents.
