WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Forsyth Academy celebrated it's 20 anniversary Saturday with a special community event.
Forsyth Academy was established in 1999 and is one of the oldest schools in National Heritage Academie's family of schools.
Just recently, the North Carolina State Board of Education approved the academy for a 10-year renewal.
To help Forsyth Academy celebrate 20 years, Mayor Allen Joines was also in attendance!
“It is very exciting to have the Mayor of Winston-Salem join our event,” said Wendy Barajas, principal at Forsyth Academy. “This shows that he understands the impact Forsyth Academy has on the community of North Winston-Salem and believes we are a great choice for student education.”
The special event included games, bounce houses, music, food, and several other activities for kids and parents to enjoy.
