Aaaaay! Look who stopped by a Winston-Salem restaurant

Actor Henry Winkler was in town!

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A Winston-Salem restaurant welcomed a celebrity guest for dinner Wednesday night.

Actor Henry Winkler, best known for his role as 'The Fonz' or 'Fonzie' from the popular TV series 'Happy Days,' stopped by Mozelle's Southern Bistro.

He was in town for a book signing at Calvary Moravian Church, discussing his new memoir 'Being Henry.'

Mozelle's shared some photos of their special guest writing, "Fonzie knows how to pregame." He dined at the restaurant before heading to the church for his appearance.

Employees said he ate at Mozelle's with his wife who was celebrating her birthday. They called the actor "a nice guy, down to earth and so friendly." He ordered fried chicken with mac and cheese and ate everything on his plate.

To finish the meal, the couple shared bread pudding and coconut pie topped with a birthday candle.
