Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools votes to extend mask policy

Face masks must be on in district buildings, facilities, and on buses.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools’ Board of Education voted to extend the mandatory mask requirement at their Tuesday night meeting. 

It means that students, faculty will continue to wear masks into March. Face masks must be on in district buildings, facilities, and on buses. The school district said it will continue to monitor cases and close contacts over the next two weeks and will report the findings at the next meeting.
