FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools wants input from students, parents, families, and staff on the district's calendar for the 2025-26 school year.
The school district has presented two options for next year's school calendar. Both calendars have the same start and end days for the school year with the main difference being when spring break is.
Option A has spring break scheduled to end in April, while Option B has spring break planned for March.
WS/FCS said a committee of teachers, teaching assistants, principals, Parent Advisory Council members, and other district representatives helped to propose the two calendar options.
WS/FCS encourages people to vote for which calendar option they prefer through the 2025-26 Calendar Survey. The voting deadline is Oct. 6.
