GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Southwest Guilford Elementary School will have remote learning until at least Thursday, according to Guilford County Schools.
The district said A/C was out in more than half of the building Monday. Students were released at 1 p.m.
GCS said "extensive" repairs are needed on the A/C unit at Southwest Elementary. The plan is to resume in-person classes by Thursday, but that could change based on "pending parts availability."
Families will have an opportunity to pick up breakfast at the school between 8-8:30 a.m. and lunch between 12-12:30 p.m. each day the school is closed to in-person learning.
