Shift_ed hosts HBCU college fair in Greensboro

More than 300 students were in attendance Thursday night.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A local group held an HBCU college fair Thursday night.

Shift_ed hosted more than 300 students at Mount Zion Baptist Church. The goal was to get students exposed to college opportunities early.

They also had the chance to get on-site FAFSA support.

One of the organizers says the sooner students start exploring potential college fits, the better. She said HBCUs provide a unique culture, and students should try to find the one that feels most like them.
