RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Big changes could be coming to Randolph County Schools.
The Board of Commissioners is considering building two new schools and demolishing another. They plan to vote on Monday.
The county says a new elementary school will be built in the eastern part of the county, and a new high school will be built in Randleman. The plan also includes renovations to Eastern and Western Randolph and Trinity High School.
The county says these changes are necessary because they anticipate a large population boom in the next few years.
