HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University has been named the No. 1 Best-Run College in the country by The Princeton Review, according to a release from the school.
The university was featured in The Princeton Review's "The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition." The only other North Carolina college featured is Elon University.
High Point University has ranked high on other top 20 lists, having earned the No. 6 spot for Best College Dorms and No. 9 for Best Career Services on the same list last year.
The Princeton Review partly uses responses from students when ranking universities for their list. According to the release, this is the eighth consecutive year the school has ranked at the top of The Princeton Review's top colleges list.
“We appreciate this recognition and the fact that families across the nation consistently say that High Point University is one of the best academic institutions in America,” said High Point University President Nido Qubein. “We are grateful for the high marks given to us by our students, and we celebrate the dedicated team it takes to operate this thriving institution. Our future is bright, and we remain committed to supporting our students and preparing them for the world as it is going to be.”
The university will celebrate 100 years on Sept. 14. It's seen its largest total enrollment in history since the start of the fall semester.
