GREENSBORO, N.C. — Guilford County School parents who yearn to learn a foreign language are in luck!
That's because Guilford County Schools (GCS) Global Languages Department and Guilford Parent Academy (GPA) will offer free adult language classes in Chinese, Spanish, and French to GCS parents.
The classes will be offered for a total of eight weeks at different locations.
“At GPA, we are focused not only on helping parents help their children succeed, but also on providing personal growth opportunities for parents,” said Dr. Wanda Legrand, chief student services officer for GCS.
“Learning a new language has many benefits, both professionally and personally. We hope parents will take advantage of this opportunity.”
Parents are encouraged to register early for the free classes as they will more than likely fill up quickly.
