GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Guilford County School Board approved a rebuild for Erwin Montessori on the site of the former Archer Elementary School.
A tornado severely damaged Erwin in 2018 and students have been going to a different school ever since. Archer was built in 1962.
Now, the building will the demolished and a new building will be built which will be the new Erwin Montessori location.
The new facility is expected to open in 2027.
